Founded in 2011 by Sumant Sinha, ReNew is a leading decarbonisation company. Apart from being one of the largest independent power producers in India, we deliver end-to-end decarbonisation solutions — including wind, solar, hydropower, green hydrogen, energy storage, carbon credits, and energy services to governments and corporates alike.

In line with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat Mission, ReNew ventured into solar module and cell manufacturing, building self-reliant and world-class supply chains right here in India.

Our two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Jaipur and Dholera are LEED Gold-certified facilities. In fact, our Jaipur facility was the first plant to be commissioned under the PLI scheme of the Government of India.

The Dholera facility was launched with an expanded vision—housing not only module lines but also a full-fledged solar cell manufacturing unit, one of the few in the country.

ReNew’s manufacturing expansion has also attracted international investor confidence. British International Investment (BII) has invested ₹800 crore into ReNew’s solar manufacturing business, further reinforcing the company’s position as a clean tech leader with global impact.

To date, ReNew has successfully sold over 3 GW of solar modules, both DCR and non-DCR compliant, catering to a wide array of clients across sectors.
